West Jeff High School is thrilled to announce that one of our own, Business teacher Valerie Burton, has been named by LACUE (Louisiana Association of Computer-Using Educators, an affiliate of ISTE) as their honoree for Teacher of the Year at their 2017 conference held at the New Orleans Hyatt, November 28-30. Earlier in the conference, Ms. Burton was named Region 1 Secondary teacher of the year, she then moved on to win the top honor. Well done Ms. Burton! Our BUC pride is bursting!
