LATRC 4 West Jefferson High School students participated in the Louisiana Teen Readers’ Choice 2016 campaign. The program required Louisiana High School students to READ or LISTEN to any 2 books on a list of popular nominated teen fiction and vote for their favorite by February 1, 2016.

The books have been available for checkout at West Jefferson High School’s Library Media Center since the school year began. Students read the books and participated in the campaign which culminated with a week of fun activities sponsored by the library from January 26th through February 1st.

Students snacked their way through book talks  and  movie trailers, participated in a LTRC themed bingo, had a chance to win a Barnes and Noble gift card, and finally let their voices be heard when they voted for their favorite book.
